Throughout the night there will be three rounds. Within these rounds you will be able to visit certain stations. In these stations you may find certain “items of interest”, suspects that you can question, or you may even stumble across a secret rendezvous between two suspects.

Within each round, there are 5 stations to visit. BUT- there is only time to visit 4 of them. Choose your stations wisely, vital evidence may be in the most unexpected places. You will have 5 minutes in the first station you visit, however your time diminishes with each station you chose. The second station you will have 4 minutes, the third station will have 3 minutes and the fourth station allows only 2 minutes. This process happens in each of the three rounds.

The bell is your indicator to alert you when you must change stations. It will toll once to change stations, and once again when you can begin to examine your station. The bell will toll twice when it is time to return to the Abbey Tavern, and it will toll three times if another murder has taken place. After each of your rounds you can enjoy a break where the first, second or third course of your meal will be served (although some may take this time to cross examine their findings and make alliances!).

After your three rounds are up, you will be issued with an “Accusation Card”. You will have ten minutes to write down your chosen suspect and your three pieces of evidence. While it is true that speed is an aspect to winning the game, fret not if you are not quick to hand in your accusation. Content earns more than agility.
